Refund Policy

At Storyboard.team, we strive to provide the best AI-powered storyboard collaboration platform for film and advertising professionals. We want you to be completely satisfied with our service.

1. Free Trial

We offer a Free plan that allows you to explore our platform's core features at no cost, including limited AI credits. We encourage you to thoroughly evaluate our service before upgrading to a paid plan.

2. Subscription Refunds

2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your monthly subscription (Pro, Team, or Enterprise) at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • No refunds are provided for partial months
  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period

2.2 Annual Subscriptions

  • Annual subscriptions offer a discounted rate compared to monthly billing
  • If you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial annual subscription purchase, you are eligible for a full refund
  • After 14 days, you may cancel at any time, but no refund will be provided for the remaining period
  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your annual subscription period

2A. AI Credit Top-up Refunds

2A.1 Consumed Credits

AI credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable under any circumstances.

2A.2 Unused Top-up Credits

If you purchased a top-up credit package and have not consumed any credits from that package, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

2A.3 Partially Consumed Top-up Packages

Top-up packages from which any credits have been consumed are non-refundable, regardless of how many credits remain.

2A.4 Monthly Credits

Monthly AI credits included in your subscription plan are not separately refundable. They are covered by the subscription refund policy (Section 2).

3. Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical problems that prevent you from using the service, and our support team is unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe
  • Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged due to a system error
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team:

  • Include your account email, subscription details, and reason for the refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution

6. Subscription Expiration

6.1 What Happens When Your Subscription Expires

If you do not renew your Pro, Team, or Enterprise subscription:

  • Your workspace will enter a "frozen" (read-only) state
  • You can still view and export all your content
  • You cannot edit, create new content, or use premium features
  • AI features become completely unavailable (monthly credits are reset to zero)
  • Top-up credit balance is frozen (credits are not deleted but cannot be used)
  • If you renew your subscription, your top-up credit balance will be restored
  • Your data will be preserved for 90 days after expiration

6.2 Plan Rules

Subscription plans are a permanent attribute of the workspace and cannot be downgraded:

  • A Pro workspace that expires enters a frozen (read-only) state. It cannot be downgraded to Free. You may renew Pro or upgrade to Team / Enterprise.
  • A Team workspace that expires enters a frozen (read-only) state. It cannot be downgraded to Pro or Free. You may renew Team or upgrade to Enterprise.
  • To restore access, you must renew the current plan or upgrade to a higher-tier plan.

6.3 Data Retention After Expiration

We will send reminder emails at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiration, and again before final data deletion.

7. Account Termination

If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be provided.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
